====== AB / auto AB ====== ===== Icon ===== {{:icon:ab_icon.png?50|}} ===== How it works ===== **Some tool functions are only available in expert mode** This option creates a map from saved AB points. AB points correspond to row entries and exits. The option is only available **when at least one map is loaded into the application**. ===== Application ===== When this option is activated, a dialog window opens, allowing you to [[cluster|group points]] on the selected maps. Once the points have been grouped, a step allows you to select whether the AB is to be used automatically or manually. ==== AB automatic ==== The option is performed in several steps: - Selection of A points, i.e. all points on one side of the plot, using a polygonal selection. - Selection of B points, i.e. all points on the opposite side of the plot, using polygonal selection. - Selection of the 1st row by selecting an A point and then a B point from the previously created groups. {{ :en:ab_auto.png?400 |}} Once these steps have been completed, the map made up of the selected points is created as follows: - Creation of the 1st row - Selection of point A (belonging to group A) closest to point A of the last row created - Same for point B - Creation of the new row using these points. {{ :en:ab_auto_ok.png?400 |}} ==== AB manual ==== The option is used simply by selecting a point, then a second point. The selected points will be converted into a row of 2 points. {{ :en:ab_manual1.png?400 |}} Once the row has been created, the option restarts at step 4. The keyboard shortcut **Ctrl + B** also starts the tool.
