====== Connect crop holes AB ====== ===== Icon ===== {{:icon:crop_hole_ab_icon.png?50|}} ===== How it works ===== **Some tool functions are only available in expert mode** This option lets you add a crop hole zone between two existing rows in order to merge plots. The option is only available **when at least one map is loaded in the application**. ===== Application ===== When the option is started, a window appears allowing you to : * Select the project to be modified * Modify hole area creation parameters * activate / deactivate hole area connection in automatic mode * Enable / disable creation of rounded crop hole zone * Manage existing holes areas * You can activate/deactivate the deletion of points when deleting load-shedding zones. * You can click on an item in the hole area list to display it with a red filter, or delete it by clicking on the delete icon. ==== Automatic crop hole zone AB ==== The Automatic AB crop hole zone option is activated by enabling the **Auto AB crop hole zone connection** parameter and then clicking on the **LINK** button. The option works in several stages: * Polygonal selection of point group A, i.e. the points at the end of the 1st plot. * Polygonal selection of point group B, i.e. the points at the end of the 2nd plot. * Selection of 1st point A and 1st point B. {{ :en:automatic_hole.png?400 |}} Once AB has been selected, the 1st hole area will be drawn between the row of point A and the row of point B, merging the two into a single row with a hole area running from A to B. Subsequent holes areas will be created by taking the nearest unselected points A and B for each hole area. ==== Manual AB hole area ==== The Automatic AB hole area option is activated by deactivating the **Auto AB crop hole zone connection** parameter and then clicking on the **LINK** button. How it works: select the end of a row, then the end of a second row, and draw a hole area between the two ends. ==== Crop hole zone curves ==== The Automatic AB hole area option is triggered by activating the **Rounded crop hole zones** parameter, then clicking on the **LINK** button. The option works either automatically or manually, depending on the **Auto AB crop hole zone connection** parameter. If the rows are not perfectly aligned, the creation of curved crop hole zone prevents the robot from entering or leaving a hole area with a great an angle, by smoothing the curve of the trajectory. ==== Hole area deletion ==== Holes areas can be deleted from the **Management of load-shedding zones** section. This can be done in two different ways, depending on the value of the **Delete points** parameter: * If the parameter is enabled, the row is cut at the load-shedding zone to form 2 rows. * If the parameter is deactivated, the row remains whole, but the relief zone property is removed. {{ :main_toolbar:crop_hole_delete_comparison.png?400 |}}
