====== Measure distance with Geofencing ====== ===== Icon ===== {{:icon:distance_from_geofencing_icon.png?50|}} ===== How it works ===== **Only available in expert mode**. This option allows you to check the use of a course map by comparing it with a geo-barrier map. The option is only available **when at least one map is loaded in the application**. ===== Application ===== When the option is activated, a window opens allowing you to : - Select the maps (course map and geofencing map) to be compared. - Enter the verification distances: * The **minimum U-turn distance** to check that **row ends** are at a distance from the geofence greater than or equal to the value * The **minimum distance with rows** to check that **segment sections are at all points** at a distance from the geo-fence greater than or equal to the value. {{ :en:check_gfg_distance_window.png?400 |}} Once the option has been activated by clicking on **VALIDATE**, two filters appear to display problem areas: * in red, row ends too close to the geo-fence * In orange, row sections too close to the geo-fence {{ :en:check_gfg_distance_example.png?400 |}} These two filters can be deleted by clicking on the **CLEAR** button, or by clicking on the delete filters option in the [[layers_dialog|menu for maps]].
