===== How it works =====

This option lets you modify a few application parameters that will change the behavior of some options.

===== Application =====

When the option is activated, a window appears, allowing you to modify the values of several parameters, grouped into two themes:
  * **General parameters**
    * Allows you to modify the application language.
      * For the moment, the only languages available are English and French.
    * Selects the opening mode of the [[helpception|integrated help]] : in a new tab / in a window integrated into Easymapping
    * Accesses the application's expert mode. Please note that expert mode provides access to so-called expert options and expert parameters. Using or modifying them without knowing how it works may cause malfunctions and/or errors in map creation. When Expert mode is activated, unlocked tools and functions will be highlighted in orange.

  * **Map settings**
    * The export version of Geofencing
      * This parameter limits the number of map points exported for the geofencing. Please note that the geofencing export version must correspond to the software version of the robot concerned.
    * The temporal criterion for rank segmentation (can only be modified in expert mode)
      * This parameter allows two points to be considered as belonging to different ranks if they were taken more than X seconds apart.
      * It is used in particular by the [[open_file|card import]] or the [[simplify|simplification]]

To validate parameter changes, click on **SET**. Exiting the option in any other way does not save the modified parameters.
