Measure

This option lets you measure distances along one or more consecutive segments.

The option works in several stages:

• On the 1st click of the measurement, a point is added, and a window appears showing the distance between this point and the mouse.
• With each click on the map, a new point is added to the measurement, and the window displays the sum of the distances between each point.
• The measurement line/polyline is validated when double-clicked, and the bubble measures the total distance of this line/polyline.

You can draw as many lines as you like. These lines are persistent until the delete measurements option is triggered.

Distances are indicated in meters, feet and inches.

The keyboard shortcut Ctrl + m also starts the tool.
