Layer dialog

Click on the corresponding button to open the map menu.

It consists of several parts:

  1. List of cards
  2. The list of filters available for the selected map
  3. The list of actions available for the selected card

1. Map list

In this list, all maps loaded into the application will appear. The selected map will be highlighted by a change in background color.

Each card can be shown or hidden by clicking on the button to the right of its name.

2. Filter list

Each filter available in this list can be used to modify the appearance of the selected map, or to add an additional filter to that map.

Filters can be activated and deactivated by clicking on the corresponding icon. An activated filter appears in green in the list.

There are currently 3 different filters:

  1. GPS points
  2. Rank order
  3. Potential errors

GPS point filter

Icon :

This option displays GPS points and hides map rows.

Attention this option requires a lot of display calculations and may cause the application to crash in the event of insufficient RAM and/or a map with a lot of points.

Rank order filter

Icon :

This option automatically displays an additional filter for viewing :

  • Row entries and exits (icons at row ends)
  • Row direction (mid-row arrow)
  • Row indexing (entry number / middle / end of row)
  • Row sequence (dotted line between the end of one row and the start of the next)

Filtering potential errors

Icon :

This option automatically displays an additional filter to show row entries and endings, as well as the order of the rows and their direction. This option displays potential sources of error on the map:

  • A red filter highlights “single points” that cannot be treated by the robot as ranks and will cause an error when the mission is launched.
  • A purple filter highlights potential row errors:
    • clusters of concentrated points
    • excessively steep angles, which can cause navigation problems when using robots in autonomous mode

  • An orange filter highlights U-turns that appear too short or too long in relation to the rest of the map.

3. List of actions

Several actions are available when a card is selected:

  • Center view on map
  • Convert a geofencing map into a classic map
  • Hide tool error filters
  • Cut the geofencing map into several polygons

Center view on map

Icon :

This option automatically displays the corresponding map, centering the window so that it can be seen in its entirety.

Convert a geofencing map into a classic map

Icon :

This option transforms a geofencing map into a classic route map, allowing you to make a few modifications.

Hide tool error filters

Icon :

This option allows you to hide the error filters displayed by some options, in particular during the grouping of points or the geo-fencing verification

Cut the geofencing map into several polygons

Icon :

This option allows you to divide a geofencing map into several distinct polygons to maximize the accuracy of the total geofencing map, while respecting the maximum number of points for each geofencing map.
