Creating a map from a polygon
Icon
How it works
Some tool functions are only available in expert mode
This option allows you to create a map from points representing the outline of a plot of land.
This option is only available when at least one card is loaded in the application.
Application
When the option is activated, a dialog window opens, allowing you to :
- Select parameters
- Select the plot contour map
- Select future map name
- Set distances
- Enter the inter-row distance of the future map
- Enter the distance between the 1st row of the future map and the contour reference row
- Enter the distance of half-turns within the contour
- Draw a polygon
- Select the points to be highlighted with a blue circle. These points must be selected in order to create a plot contour within which the rows will be created using the parameters previously supplied.
- To close the polygon, click on the first point selected.
- Select reference line
- Among the points previously selected when creating the contour, it is necessary to choose 2 points which will be used to draw the reference line for the rows to be traced.
Once the line has been selected, the map is created using the various parameters.
The map used to draw the contour is retained in the map list, and the new map is added to the map list.
The Y keyboard shortcut also starts the tool.
