Create a map from selected points

This option allows you to create a new map by placing only the previously selected points within it. The other points remain in the original map.

The option is only available when at least one map is loaded into the application and at least one point has been selected.

In order to use this option, you must first select points using the selection tools (selection rectangular or polygonal) and activate this option once the filter of selected points is visible. A dialog box appears when this option is activated, allowing you to choose a name for the new map.

Click on SPLIT to create the new map, which appears in the map menu.

Warning, to create a new map from a selection, you must select all the rows you wish to move to a new map. If only a few points of these rows are selected, the rows are split.
